COURSEWARE INNOVATION AT FALCON4

The desire to innovate security and counter terrorism training was a major reason IPC invested into Falcon4. This desire has become reality, as innovations stemming from team members in the United States and in Jordan working together are now proven and available at Falcon4.
Performance Improvement Mapping (PIM) is a method using performance results to challenge those with developed skills, and to remediate those who are struggling. PIM establishes a series of levels or “gates”. In order to progress, the trainee must pass each assessment or “gate” to move on. This allows a group to train together at Falcon4, despite what could be a wide range of skill levels. When all the trainees work at their appropriate levels, the result is a course allowing each trainee to reach their maximum potential.
PIM Methods already exist for Pistol and Rifle. PIM can be applied to other training applications as well. For those Commands who have flexibility in their training, Falcon4 offers courses that employ these methods. The combination of methods and technology systems accelerates training results.

These methods and the various technology systems combine to provide a high impact and high throughput “factory” approach to training. The input is raw trainees, the process is the PIM across many stations, and the result is elevated or more highly skilled trainees compared to when they started.
