Useful Information for All Travelers to Jordan

The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is well known for its hospitality. We are honored to be working in Jordan and want your arrival to be a smooth and easy experience. ‌
The city of Amman is sophisticated and international. You can Uber to a shopping mall, drive to ancient ruins, hang out in a shady spot by a pool, or safely walk home from the pub. ‌
Travelers arriving to Jordan benefit from having a printed page with pictures of your luggage. Envision being able to hand this off to airport or KASOTC personnel to aid in your arrival. This is especially relevant for those carrying facilitation items.
It is very handy to have $100 cash in clean pristine bills. Convert these at the airport for some handy pocket change and to pay for the entry visa for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. You will find the airport personnel to be helpful.
Also we highly recommended installing and familiarizing yourself with WhatsApp.
Uber works well in Jordan. From the airport there are also taxis. And for facilitation cases, KASOTC personnel will transport you.

IPC Contractors and Customers

Communication is key. Whatsapp team IPC and any other contacts during your travel. ‌
Write down the IPC team’s international numbers, so if your phone dies in transit, you can still get help contacting team members.
If you are bringing technical or weapons related equipment, it is very important to get facilitation support from our host. The Falcon4 team can help, be sure to contact us for help. Anyone getting this support, be sure to have a few copies printed of the facilitation letter with you when you travel.
If IPC or KASOTC personnel have arranged for facilitation into Jordan, be sure to start looking for your name on a sign immediately upon deplaning. And if you don’t see a sign also not a problem.
Common problems for American contractors arriving include bringing binoculars, small drones, and Walkie talkies. These are not allowed into Jordan, and absent official facilitation support, may be confiscated.
Once you have your luggage, exit the baggage claim. Assuming comms have occurred, team IPC and/or KASOTC personnel will escort you.
KASOTC is an active military base. Please see the KASOTC official rules.
